This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation variables, workload and job satisfaction on performance through employee work stress. This causal associative study involved 70 samples taken by census. Research data collected through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using structural equation model based on partial least square techniques. Research results: (1) compensation, workload, and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on performance; (2) compensation and job satisfaction have no effect on work stress, while workload has a positive and significant effect on work stress; (3) job stress has a positive and significant effect on performance; (4) compensation has no effect on employee performance through work stress; (5) workload and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work stress of ROGHCB employees.
