Abstract

The paper shows the results of Faraday Effect study of borate and metaphosphate glasses doped with various concentrations of terbium under uniform longitudinal magnetic field. The Verdet constant of glass under study is obtained based on the experimental data for several wavelengths. The optical and spectral properties of glasses are also studied.
