Abstract

With the continuous development of science and technology, wireless power transfer technology has become the most concerned research topic at home and abroad, and is the inevitable trend of future progress in power systems. In this paper, the origin of wireless power transfer technology is introduced, which traces back to the discovery of electromagnetic waves. Three main types of wireless power transfer technology are analyzed, including inductive wireless power transfer technology, resonant wireless power transfer technology and microwave wireless power transfer technology. On the basis of this, the development of three kinds of wireless power transfer technology is discussed, the research results of wireless power transfer technology are described in detail, and the similarities and differences between the most widely studied inductive and resonant wireless power transfer technology are analyzed. Finally, the application of wireless power transfer technology in various fields is prospected.
