Abstract
In this contribution, the influence of hydrogen absorption and low temperature treatments (77K) on the evolution of amorphous Curie temperature shift (δTCam) is investigated in some of FeNi and Fe-based glasses. TC shifts of both types of alloys are surprisingly stable at higher temperatures and behave as a structural imprint in the investigated samples. The origin of these structural imprints is analyzed on the basis of Bethe-Slater conception, supposing the existence of quenched-in phase reminiscences in glassy alloys, being inherited from the super-cooled melt. © 2009 IOP Publishing Ltd.
