Abstract

In certain cases sometimes information is inadequate to use in making a specific decision to solve the problem. Therefore the concept of Decision Support Systems is an alternative solution to this problem. The concept of a computer-based decision support system is a system that can solve certain problems using special methods based on computers. In the decision making process in the SPK there are a number of criteria used, as well as many methods that can be used to obtain solutions to these problems. One method that is often used is the simple additive weighting (SAW) method. In this method there are two variables that will be used, namely the benefit variable and the cost variable. This study will make a comparison of the results obtained if all variables are considered to be the benefit variable and the next condition is done by using benefit and cost variables. While the test data will be used as many as 200 data. The results of the cracking obtained from this method will later be compared with the initial data, where the data was originally compiled or scrambled by multiplying the value of the importance of the data
