Abstract

Raphanus raphanistrum L. is reported for the first time at Reserve of Fauna Production of Chimborazo, Ecuador at 4,020 m in height in a paramo vegetation. The species was first reported for the provinces of Imbabura and Pichincha, to the north of the country. The presence of these plants in a national park may bring some risks to the natural vegetation especially to the endemic vulnerable paramo flora.
