Abstract

The article discusses the notion of pleasure reading in relation to library readers' advisory services. Topics include the role of librarians in encouraging pleasure reading; the definition of reading in relation to non-book media genres such as magazines, websites, and video games; and the views of librarian Duncan Smith on readers' advisory interviews.
