Abstract

English for contemporary international business correspondence is an extremely important tool to do business with foreign merchants. It should be noted that the politeness principles should be strictly observed in English for contemporary international business correspondence to make the letter concise and pleasant to the reader to settle any problem. Through a comprehensive and systematic analysis and comparison of examples, this paper argues that we should use certain ways to write polite English for contemporary international business correspondence. © 2012 ACADEMY PUBLISHER Manufactured in Finland.
