The goal is to analyze the market insertion by families settled in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre in Rio Grande do Sul, using the experience of the object as organic rice. The production of organic rice brought the opportunity of returning to the peasant market with differentiated strategies, relying on adding value for a product consisting of relevant sensory and functional characteristics, combined with environmental and social concerns.
