Abstract

Gallery Walk is a learning method where students explore and present their ideas through visual exhibitions. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of the Gallery Walk method in improving students' cooperation and creativity. Some previous studies have described the application of this method to improve student learning outcomes. In this study, the focus of the application is to improve students' cooperation and creativity. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Cooperation indicators include observation of interactions, participation in discussions, and support in completing projects. Meanwhile, creativity indicators include the quality of work, uniqueness of ideas, and students' ability to relate concepts to a broader context. To measure the level of cooperation and creativity of students during the learning process with the Gallery Walk method, an observation sheet was used. This research was conducted on the material of flat-sided spaces at SMP Nusantara Jabung, Malang Regency, with the research subjects being 8th grade students, consisting of 16 students who were divided into several groups for the application of the Gallery Walk method. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of the Gallery Walk strategy is effective in improving student cooperation and creativity.
