Abstract

The article focuses on the laws and legislations made for transracial adoption in the United States. Topics discussed include importance of racial hierarchy in the transracial adoption, socio-legal aspects of transracial adoption and psychological aspects of the individuals adopting children of different races. It further discusses the rules regarding racial dominance and transracial adoption.
