Abstract

The 2p photoelectron spectra of ground-state sodium atoms have been investigated. By means of large scale MCDF calculations, it is shown that the agreement between our theoretical results and the measured spectra is good if the rearrangement of the residual bound-state electron density is taken into account. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
