Finansal Okuryazarlık ve Para Yönetimi: Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Akademik Personel Üzerine Bir Uygulama

Abstract

One of the most important skills that individuals want to achieve is to cope with the money and the ability to use the money. In today's evolving and changing socio-economic conditions, improving the financial literacy skills has become inevitable to survive and cope with the available financial products and services’s increasing diversity and complexity. Having financial literacy skills is important because of predicting and solving financial problems and also having prosperous life. This study was applied on Süleyman Demirel University Academic Staff. Financial knowledges, financial behaviours and financial attitudes of academic staff were tested on the financial literacy and money management issues and their financial literacy were studied to determine. According to the study, emerged that the academic staff is financial literate individuals but they need more financial education.
