Abstract

The objective of this research was to assess the contribution of school parents' committees on teaching and learning in public secondary schools in South District of Unguja, Zanzibar. School Parents committee has become a driving force toward the development of public secondary schools, the study specifically focused on assessing the awareness and administrative contributions of school parents' committees to academic teaching and learning in Southern District of Unguja Secondary Schools. It also aimed to examine the strategies used by these committees to enhance academic performance in public secondary schools in the Southern District of Unguja.
