Abstract

The article cites the author's contributions to local knowledge, theory and research in fieldwork and comparative studies. The author completed a degree in English then switched to the Faculty of Archaeology and Anthropology. The author is interested in the comparative study of human society. His doctoral thesis was published as "Death, Property and the Ancestors," which was intended to be an analysis of the religion of the LoDagaa. The remaining sector of the author's work relates to the contrasting sociocultural situations in Africa and Eurasia.
