Active sportswear fabrics

Abstract

Japanese exports of active sportswear fabrics are facing difficulties due to economic recession in the European market. The US market, however, is improving. The main products in this area offered by Unitika Ltd, Kanebo Ltd and Toray Industries Inc are described. Some of the products exhibited at the ISPO 94 Spring exhibition, the International Trade Fair for Sports Equipment and Fashion, are reviewed.
