Abstract

The Archival Identification is a process of intellectual research that regards the critical analysis of the record genesis and its production context. That is the preliminary phase of documental treatment which is developed for the purpose of production, classification, evaluation and description of records through standardized requirements. It is introduced the term, the concept, the objects, the instruments and the purposes of Archival Identification. It discusses the dynamic of documentary flows mapping as an element of Archival Identification and the relationship established between Archivology and Management area, to the comprehension of administrative and achivistic processes. As a result, it is presented the proposal of a systematization of procedures and instruments needed for the process of documentary flows mapping through the applying of Archival Identification methodology in the scope of development records management programs, in VRG Linhas Aéreas S.A. (Group GOL).
