Abstract
We measured the mobilities of Li+-(2-butanol) and Li +-(limonene) ions in He gas at room temperature using a drift tube mass spectrometer. The zero field mobilities of Li+-(2-Butanol) and Li+-(Limonene) were much lower than the polarization limit, indicating that the geometric collision cross-sections between the cluster ions and He atom were larger than the cross-sections predicted by the presence of a polarization force alone. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
