Georgia’s Cyber Left Hook

Abstract

The article discusses a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack committed against Web sites in the country of Georgia that occurred in July 2008. And additional round of DDoS attacks coincided with movements of Russian troops. The Georgian government relocated without authorization official Georgian Internet assets into U.S. and other countries.
