Abstract
A videotape that shows an example of a major triumph between computational geometry and algebraic geometry is presented. The solution of a famous conjecture due to Virginia Ragsdale is described. The solution is based on combinatorial techniques invented by O. Viro and uses properties of triangulations of point sets and the notion of convex triangulation which are commonly used in computational geometry. This videotape is produced using Geomview and StageManager.
