Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze agricultural indicators that affect the output of the agricultural sector. The research is used as a reference for post-Covid-19 government policies in improving the agricultural sector. Land conversion is one of the problems in the agricultural sector that will be studied in this study. The research model used is Cross Tabulation and Generalized Least Square (GLS). The scope of the research covers all provinces in Indonesia with the period 2014-2020. Data is sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. The research variables used in this study are: GRDP in the agricultural sector as the dependent variable. While agricultural sector labor, agricultural land, irrigated paddy fields, poverty levels, government spending on agricultural functions as non-bound variables in this study. Conclusions based on the results of Cross Tabulation, indicators of government budget in the agricultural sector, agricultural sector labor, agricultural land area and irrigated paddy field area have not optimally increased agricultural output. The conclusion based on the GLS regression results is that the variables of poverty level, agricultural land (lag 1), irrigated paddy fields, government spending on agricultural functions significantly affect agricultural output, while agricultural sector labor does not significantly affect agricultural sector output.
