Abstract

The object of this paper is a comparison between the INSERM Archives and the written version of S. Saint-Anne Dargassies's work. This pioneer in the field of neonatalogy has worked in the Baudelocque Clinic in Paris and after the creation of INSERM, in Unit 29 directed by Professor Alexandre Minkowski. The three main lines of her work were : the neurological maturation, the normal status in the neonate, disorders in the neonatal period as compared to the normal status.
