Abstract

In order to solve the problem of energy crisis and environmental pollution, the state vigorously develops electric vehicles. Permanent magnet motor is widely used in the selection of electric vehicle motor because of its high efficiency, high torque and stable operation at high speed. To a large extent, the power and economy of electric vehicles are affected by the driving motor, so it is very important to design a permanent magnet synchronous motor which can improve the economy and power of electric vehicles. This paper first introduces the structure and working principle of permanent magnet synchronous motor, and then analyzes which parameters in the structure will affect its output characteristics. Combined with the requirements of electric vehicle driving conditions, the stator winding, pole pairs, air gap length and other parameters are calculated, and then the finite element analysis software Ansoft / Maxwell 2D is used The motor model is established, and the simulation experiments are carried out under no-load, rated load, overload and flux weakening conditions to verify the possibility of meeting the basic requirements of the electric vehicle for the drive motor; the inductance parameters, torque power angle characteristics and motor efficiency distribution of the motor are simulated and analyzed.
