Abstract

This paper is an analyses upon the recent production about corporatism, which seeks not only to identify the classic supports on which the discussions have been based in the past decades, as well as to propose a reflection on the most recent approaches on the subject in Brazil and its connections with the international debate. The article is divided into three parts. In the first one the concept of corporativism is discussed; the second one delineates the national debate; finally, the emergence of more recent approaches and research networks organized around the theme are identified. Priority was given to articles and chapters of compilations, obeying the format assumed by the most recent productions.
