Path Optimization and Prospect Exploration in Smart City Construction Based on Hybrid Cloud Technology

Abstract

The construction of smart cities relies on IoT, cloud computing, and data analytics technologies, aiming to improve urban management efficiency. This research innovatively proposes a 'Edge-Fog-Cloud Continuum + Hybrid Cloud' collaborative architecture, using distributed data processing to effectively reduce latency and enhance real-time response capabilities. Experimental results show that this architecture significantly improves efficiency in construction project management, reducing project completion time by 22.5%, lowering costs by 21.3%, and increasing quality pass rates by 3.8 percentage points. In urban traffic optimization, dynamic route planning reduces travel time by 31.2% and decreases congestion index by 22.4%. Hybrid cloud deployment resolves the conflict between data scale and real-time analysis, ensuring the system's scalability, security, and service quality. The innovative integration of this technological framework provides a systematic solution for smart city development, promoting urban growth and improving residents' quality of life.
