Abstract

From the aerial parts of Peucedanum ruthenicum M.Bieb (Apiaceae), three known coumarins (bergapten, peucedanin, psoralen) and a new coumarin, 12-methoxypsoralen, were isolated. This is the first report of this compound. The structures of the coumarins were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. © 2008 Informa Healthcare USA, Inc.
