Analisis Ketahanan Pangan Rumah Tangga Di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah

Abstract

This research is aimed to 1) discover the level of food security at household level in Central Lampung Regency and 2) to discover the factors that determine the level of food security at the household level in Central Lampung Regency. The analysis method used to discover the level of food security at household level is by referring to the method of Jonsson and Toole, and the analysis of ordinal logistic regression is used to discover the factors that determine the food security at the household level in Central Lampung Regency. The results show that 1) Household food security in Central Lampung Regency less than 50% are in food secure condition or 38.04%. 2.a) Padian price, other consumption price and household income have positive effect, while peanut price, food and beverage price and number of household member have negative effect to household food security in Central Lampung Regency. 2.b). Household food security in urban and rural areas is no different, farm households are more food secure than non-farm households, and households receiving raskin have a higher opportunity for food secure than households that do not receive raskin.
