Abstract

AGU Chapman Conference on Remote Sensing of the Terrestrial Water Cycle; Kona, Hawaii, 19-22 February 2012 A Chapman Conference was convened to review the current state of satellite missions and their related research, as well as to identify future needs and directions. The water cycle components considered included soil moisture, precipitation, evapotranspiration, snow/ice, groundwater, and surface water. Remotely sensed data were certainly the focus of the meeting, but ancillary data and in situ resources were also discussed. © 2012. American Geophysical Union. All Rights Reserved.
