Abstract

The President introduced the speakers, and at the same time welcomed the great-great-grandaughter of John Hutchinson, Mrs Thomas Bremridge, who later took part in the discussion. Dr Spriggs presented biographical material collected with Dr Gandevia, which they hoped later to publish in extended form with a bibliographical contribution by Mr Bishop. © 1976, The Royal Society of Medicine.
