Abstract

This review presents current best-evidence treatment options for children with attention-defi cit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), including a review of current literature on the effi cacy and safety of psychostimulant medications, particularly methylphenidate, used in treating preschoolers and school-age children with ADHD.
