Abstract

Based on generalized experience in teaching such subjects as Methodology of Scientific Research, Methods of Scientific Creation etc., content presentation ways and methods, helping to develop students' problem-solving and creative approach to scientific and engineering problems solution, have been observed. It is specified that content presentation should ensure not only students' acquisition of certain information collection methods, engineering analysis etc., but also supply them with potential or alternative real and complex problems solution search and evaluation methodology. Accordingly, teaching should be based on mostly active teaching forms. Minimal information concerning theory of knowledge basic concepts and required for research methodology acquisition is recommended. Domestic and foreign patents, collected and systematized in reference books and monographs, recommended in this work, are presented as one of the sources for successful and creative problem solution particular examples. It is demonstrated that academic research task establishment and conducting methodology acquisition makes a solid ground for complex engineering and scientific problems successful solution in professionals' work experience.
