Abstract

According to the savanna hypothesis (Orians 1980, 1986), current habitat biases were shaped by selection pressures in our ancestral past. The theory argues that natural selection favored pref- erences, motivations, and decision rules that attract us to resource rich environments over resource poor environments. Introduction
