Abstract
The article is devoted to the consideration of methods for improving the effectiveness of distance learning for studentsmusicians of the correspondence department of universities in a pandemic. The article reveals the features of its implementation in the process of teaching solo, instrumental and vocal performance; ensemble singing and instrumental music making; theoretical and methodological disciplines. Attention is drawn to the fact that when implementing an electronic educational environment in the university music and pedagogical training, it is necessary to search for new forms of education that involve the complementarity of traditional and nontraditional methods and techniques that will focus on the active inclusion of elements of students’ selfeducational activities in the educational process. The organization of independent work of students is considered: a differentiated approach to the proposed tasks, taking into account preuniversity training, age and place of their work. Based on the analysis of the specifics of teaching musical disciplines, taking into account the technical capabilities of distance learning tools and the verification of the conceptual approach proposed by the author to the corresponding transformations in the training of musiciansteachers in the conditions of correspondence education, it is concluded that the implementation of distance learning in music and pedagogical education significantly increases the level of training of teachers to work in special musical institutions of additional education, significantly reveals their creative potential and promotes personal selfdevelopment.
