Abstract

A new genus and a new species from the collembolan family Neanuridae Trojanura mirocensis n. g., n. sp. has been described from the Buronov Ponor, village Miroc, Miroc Mt. (The Iron Gate), East Serbia, Yugoslavia. This form represents a very old remnant of the once existing tropical and subtropical fauna. It is also an endemic form, restricted only to cave habitats pertaining to the area studied.Iz pecine Buronov Ponor u s. Miroc na planini Miroc (podrucje Djerdapa) istocna Srbija, SR Jugoslavija, opisani su novi rod i vrsta kavernikolnih kolembola: Trojanura microcensis n. g., n. sp. Ovaj oblik predstavlja potomka nekadasnjih tropskih/suptropskih kolembola. Takodje, navedena forma je endemit planine Miroc i naseljava iskljucivo podzemna stanista (pecine i jame) ispitivanog podrucja. U radu je izvrseno dijagnostifikovanje vrsta, a razmatrane su i neke zoogeografske i ekoloske osobenosti novog taksona.
