Abstract

Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:. To assess the effects of implants versus autologous tissue flaps for breast reconstruction following mastectomy for breast cancer treatment or risk reduction, on women’s level of satisfaction, and quality of life, and surgical short- and long-term complications.
