Abstract
Pancreatoduodenectomy continues to have a high rate of complications. The most common and severe complications are intra or postoperative bleeding, pancreatic fistulae and derangements of gastric emptying. Each of these requires a great deal of clinical suspicion and an multidisciphnary management. This is a review of these complications, their clinical manifestations and their management.
