Abstract
Pyoderma gangrenosum is an unusual cutaneous-ulcerative dermatosis associated with a variety of systemic diseases. The diagnosis can be difficult, because it is a little understood skin-disorder; many patients require prolonged treatment. This paper reports the case of two patients with pyoderma gangrenosum documented by biopsy and clinical data in one location but in different health institutions; in one patient a systemic disease was associated with difficulties in definitive diagnosis.
