Abstract

It analyzes the evaluation practices experienced by 45 students from seven Brazilian federal universities in Physical Education classes in basic education. It is characterized as an exploratory quantitative-qualitative research and uses, as an instrument for the production of data, a semi-structured questionnaire and collective narrative interviews, both carried out with 45 students from seven Brazilian federal universities. The results beckon to the use of evaluation instruments that are based on talking of and writing about that is, they are expressed through written and verbal language; and do with bodily practices, based on the students' experiences in relation to the domain of an activity. The articulation between the different forms of evaluation demonstrates that it is possible to cover the complexity of the knowledge taught and learned in Physical Education, As well as the relation that the students establish with the specific knowledge of this curricular component.
