Abstract
In a company engaged in the automotive sector such as PT. Krama Yudha Ratu Motor, of course, has various machines that will later be assembled into motorized vehicles. As a result, the authors found that there are several welding methods that have certain functions depending on what will be glued. Electrical resistance welding utilizes the electrical resistance (resistance) of the material to create a short circuit and melt the metal being welded. There is control on the Portable Spot Welding machine using the timer method, where the current and all the controls on the Portable Spot Welding machine work according to the time that has been programmed on the timer and the use of electrodes with copper material makes the current output more leverage, plus the cost of component replacement. which is quite cheap.
