Abstract

The purpose of this application is to conserve the names of three beetle genera which are junior objective synonyms of names which have not been used since the 19th century. The names are Crenitis Bedel, 1881 (threatened by Fontiscrutor Pandelle, 1876), Georissus Latreille, 1809 (threatened by Cathammistes Illiger, 1807) and Oosternum Sharp, 1882 (threatened by Crypteuna Motschulsky, 1863).
