The dynamic landscape of the global education system has undergone a significant transformation to meet the evolving needs of the modern era. This shift has emphasised the importance of teachers’ role as the foundation of the country's education system. Teacher professional learning is an ongoing process that enhances teachers' skills and expertise to ensure excellence in education. By working together, the school community can create an environment conducive to continuous improvement, ultimately leading to better student outcomes. This concept paper discusses the concept and role of teachers' professional learning, especially in schools. Professional learning models and practices are also taught to help teachers comprehend the necessity of constantly learning and improving their expertise and skills. This is an important effort for school development and students' success. It is also hoped that this concept paper can provide some new insights to professional learning researchers of teachers in the future.
