Abstract

Based on a case of a real-world fully automated robot-based manufacturing system, this chapter discusses the requirements and the reality of constructing such systems, the underlying know-how needed for successful construction and operating of fully automated manufacturing systems and future directions in fully automated manufacturing systems.
