Abstract

Housing needs to be increased in the center of Gunungsitoli City after the 2015 earthquake, this situation has caused coastal areas and coastal borders to be used as residential areas, whose development is out of control, and has an impact on decreasing environmental quality. Therefore, an analysis is needed to determine the dominant factors that affect the condition of the housing area, and identify the suitability of the regional management plan in the city land use plan, taking into account the existing conditions. Analysis of the data used in this study is an assessment and describes each selected variable. The results of the study are in the form of information about the condition of the seaside residential area, which can be an input for stakeholders in determining the direction of sustainable waterfront management policies.
