Opini Warganet di Twitter/X.com pada Percakapan tentang “Peringatan Darurat”

Abstract

Indonesian citizens have the authority to express their opinions freely, including opinions on political issues related to the Constitutional Court's decision that was annulled by the House of Representatives regarding the revision of Article 7 Paragraph (2) Letter e No. 6 of 2020 regulating the General Election of Regional Heads in August 2024. The political issue triggered mixed public reactions, especially regarding the Emergency Warning image. Research using mixed methods aims to find out public opinions, reactions, and information on Twitter/X.com for the period August 21-28, 2024, with keywords: Emergency Alert, #RejectPolitikDynasty, and #KawalPutusanMK. Quantitative data was obtained through NoLimit Indonesia's social media monitoring tool, while qualitative data was obtained through interviews. The results showed the dominance of neutral reactions 64.0% (540,934) of conversations, followed by 30.7% (143,576) negative conversations, and 5.2% (16,155) positive conversations. Sentences that often appear are #kawalputusanmk, #tolakpolitikdinasti, #peringatandarurat, action, and Semarang. The top 3 speakers are @TonyThomps18011 with 859 interactions, @brambangbakar with 646 interactions, and @weolluna 364 conversation interactions. Then it was found from the interview results of 3 Informants that they uploaded the Emergency Warning image with a sense of disappointment, anger, disgust, and concern about the condition of the government. In addition, there is a common goal in uploading the image, which is to disseminate information more widely to the public.
