Abstract
The national demand for maize is projected to increase every year despite the decreasing of land area. Multiple cropping can be a solution to increasing maize production of land use efficiency as the land area decrease. Multiple cropping tolerant varieties are obtained germplasm with high variability and heritability. The research aimed to obtain information regarding genetic parameters and suitable hybrids of maize of multiple cropping suitable with high yield. The experimental design was a Split Plot design with a cropping system (maize monocropping, maize+soybean, maize+sweet potato) as the main plot and 20 Padjadjaran Maize Hybrids and 4 commercial varieties as subplot. The research was analyzed by Genotype by Yield*Trait (GYT) Biplot analysis. The result showed the best genotype at maize+soybean were H13, H10, C2, H1 and H8. Keywords:
