Someone who thinks positively and behaves well is characteristic of someone who has spiritual intelligence. Therefore, the author conducted research on the effect of the habit of reading the Qur'an on the Spiritual Intelligence of Students at MTsN 2 Katingan. This study aims to determine the effect of the habit of reading the Koran on the spiritual intelligence of students at MTsN 2 Katingan. The hypothesis in this study is "The habit of reading the Qur'an affects the spiritual intelligence of students". This study uses a quantitative approach. There are two variables in this study, namely the habit of reading the Qur'an as the independent variable and the spiritual intelligence of students as the dependent variable. The population in this study were all students in grades VIII and IX of MTsN 2 Katingan, totaling 141 students. By using proportionate stratified random sampling technique, the researcher determines the sample in this study is class VIII students as many as 18 students and class IX as many as 17 students. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis techniques. The results of calculations using descriptive statistics show that the habit of reading the Koran in its implementation is in a very high category with an average value of 36.45, which is in the 36-42 interval. Meanwhile, students' spiritual intelligence also shows a very high number with an average value of 46.14, which is in the interval 42-49. The results of calculations using inferential statistics show that there is an effect of the habit of reading the Qur'an on students' spiritual intelligence with a correlation coefficient value of r count> r table of 0.651> 0.325 and a coefficient of determination of 0.423 which means that the contribution of the habit of reading the Qur'an to students' spiritual intelligence is 42%. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the habit of reading the Qur'an and the spiritual intelligence of students at MTsN 2 Katingan and the remaining 58% is influenced by other factors, such as student background, family, community environment, and student social.
