Abstract

A 65-year-old male presented 5 years after Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGBP) with cancer of the gastric pouch. At the time of detection, the cancer was already metastatic. This case represents the first reported metastatic gastric adenocarcinoma arising from the gastric pouch following RYGBP. © 2007 Springer Science + Business Media, LLC.
