Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the key intellectual and influential aspects of financial technology literature? and to evaluate the future research direction of financial technology literature? Design/methodology/approach: This paper adopts multiple software packages were employed, including Excel, VOSviewer and RStudio. VOSviewer is used to build networks of scientific articles, journals, researchers, organizations, countries, and terms. Findings: the analysis of the Bibliographical focusing on sources, depends on five clusters, the Sustainability (Switzerland), Financial Innovations, Investment Management, Europe journal of finance and Electronic Commerce Research and Applications the lead journals in the clusters. Originality: This paper contributes to the literature based on 4 classes of research streams in Fintech namely Fintech, blockchain, Artificial intelligence and Innovation which are represent the most future upcoming trends.
