Abstract
We regret that several typos/mistakes have slipped in our article. Please find the corrections below. In “Materials and methods”, Section 2.2 (Data collection and compilation), the 4th last statement of the last paragraph, it should read: “Pyrolysis temperature was categorized into low (< 350 °C), medium (350–550 °C inclusive) and high (> 550 °C)”. In “Results”, Section 3.1, the last statement of the section should read: “In acidic soils, RR of MBC had negative relationship (P = 0.002)”. In “Results”, Section 3.2, the last statement in the first paragraph should read: “in soils with TC < 10 and 10–20 g kg−1, respectively”. In “Results”, Section 3.2, the last statement in the second paragraph should read: “and texture: 16.6% and 38.7% in acidic and neutral soils, respectively”. In “Results”, Section 3.3, the second last statement in the second paragraph should read: “by biochars with high pH (> 8) and low C/N ratios (< 100)”. In Table 3, 1st column, ‘Soil TC” should have the following categories: < 10, 10–20 and > 20. In Table 3, 1st column, “Soil TN” should have the following categories: < 1, 1–2 and > 2.
