Tendencias actuales en investigación sobre innovación en ciencias sociales: un estudio bibliométrico

Abstract

Innovation has always been felt as a concern for all societies, which is why it has been and is an integral part of humanity. This study focuses on describing the con-temporary scientific production on innovation in the social sciences and analyzing the lines of research in this field. For this, bibliometry was used as a quantitative method. Scientific production shows a growing trend, as of 2016, with an annual growth rate in the period 2010-2021 of 11.5%. Four topics of interest were iden-tified: innovation and technology; tourism; ethics and governance and social and communication.La innovación siempre se ha sentido como una preocupación para todas las sociedades, por lo que ha sido y es parte integral de la humanidad. El presente estudio se centra en describir la producción científica contemporánea sobre innovación en ciencias sociales y analizar las líneas de investigación en este ámbito. Para ello se utilizó la bibliometría como método cuantitativo. La producción científica muestra una tendencia creciente, partir de 2016, con una ratio de crecimiento anual en el periodo 2010-2021 del 11.5%. Se identificaron cuatro temáticas de interés: innovación y tecnología; turismo; ética y gobernanza y lo social y comunicación.
